About Us

What do we sell?

We sell a range of vintage toys from 1960’s – 2000, collectibles and LEGO. Not everything is pre-2000. If it’s a collectable of the future, we will sell it!

Why lego?

LEGO has always been in our family as our son grew up with it.  Steve just sort of fell into it and is now the LEGO ‘checker’. Anything that comes in used/open, he checks and resources new parts for to ensure they are all complete. We don’t take out the minifigs we believe the sets should be complete of everything!

Where do you get your stock?

We buy stock from everywhere and travel all over to get it.

We are always being asked if we buy items of customers. The answer is yes. However, they need to be items we can sell in the shop, be in good condition and something we don’t have an excess of.

Whats your newest addition?

Comics. We have 100’s not all are vintage, but the majority are. We stock lots of DC, Marvel and loads in-between.

Are your items expensive?

We don’t think so. All of our items are researched and price checked. Everything that comes in is cleaned. LEGO is checked – this takes time. If you buy on-line, you don’t always get what you think you have purchased. It’s sometimes dirty, broken or incomplete. Here you can see the item, check it over and be safe in the knowledge you are getting the item you have purchased. Our prices start at just £1.00 for loose LEGO (100g), £2.50 for build your own minifig, a die-cast car or something out the pocket money basket.

when do you get new stock in?

Stock is changing all the time and new stock is added weekly. Photos are uploaded on ‘New Stock Tuesday’. If you are not able to get into the shop, items can be posted for cost, or put aside with a small deposit to be collected on a later date.

What are your favourite items?

My favourite items in the shop are still the Polly Pockets. I still love the simplicity and the small size of them. I have also grown to love Barbie. I don’t remember ever having a Barbie as a child and now I just love the different styles of clothing she comes with. They bring out the big kid in me!

Steve’s favourites are Star Wars and Star Trek. I have to hide things from him as they come in!  He has also grown to love LEGO and is always on the lookout for something different. He has loads of his own sets but never has the time to build them!
